CISRS Scaffolder Course – Part 2 Scaffolder (10 day)
This course is eligible for trainee scaffolders who have completed a basic Scaffolder Part 1 training course, with at least 6 months’ on-site experience.
This course is eligible for CITB training grant aid to those within scope.
The aim of part 2 of this scaffolding course is to give attendees both theoretical and practical knowledge to enable them to erect and dismantle basic scaffolds using laid-down training guidelines.
- Assessment of skills and experience of basic part 1 jobs
- Statutory regulations and Codes of Practice
- Interpretation of drawings
- SG4:15 (half day)
- Truss out scaffolds
- Scaffolds using prefabricated beams
- Protective fans
- Pavement gantry
- Loading bay (tube/fitting system)
- Roof saddle/stack
- Splay/radial scaffold
- Alterations to scaffolds
- Product familiarisation in system scaffold.
Successful delegates on this scaffolding training course will receive a CISRS Completion Certificate and can apply for their current CISRS Trainee Scaffolder Card to be endorsed with this training.
To obtain the Scaffolders Card, delegates must complete their NVQ.
