Advanced Scaffolder (10 day)
This scaffolding training course is designed for a scaffolder with basic skills, who holds a Scaffolders’ Card and has at least 12 months’ experience on site.
This course is eligible for CITB training grant aid to those within scope.
The main aim is to give the attendees both theoretical and practical knowledge to enable them to erect and dismantle basic scaffolds, using laid down training guidelines.
- Statutory regulations and Codes of Practice
- Interpretation of complex design drawings
- Tubular drop-off steelwork
- Raking shores
- Dead shores/2-way shores
- Temporary roof
- Staircases (tube & fit system)
- Cantilever drop
- Risk assessments
- Method statements
- SG4:15 (½ day)
- TG4 scaffold anchors.
Successful delegates on this scaffolding course will receive a CISRS Completion Certificate. To obtain the Advanced Scaffolders Card, delegates must complete their NVQ Level 3 and CISRS Skills Test.
