It has been a busy month for Overseas Operations Director, Ian Fyall, with numerous visits to scaffolding sites across the globe. One of his trips saw Ian visit Tianjin, China, to talk about the necessity of effective scaffolding training in the region.
Ian spent three days in China, speak with the China Materials Rental Association on what can be done to improve safety standards for those working at height, bringing them up to world-leading UK safety standards.
This is Ian’s third visited to China to discuss scaffolding safety and the benefits of training, with many more trips planned over the coming years as Simian International aims to help improve safety, reduce the number of accidents that occur on sites and assist more and more people to gain qualifications in scaffolding.
With over 51.85 million people currently working in China’s construction industry, there is a significant need to ensure effective scaffolding safety and Simian International couldn’t be more excited to begin working with scaffolders in the region, as we work towards opening the first CISRS accredited training centre in China.
With centres in Nigeria, Dubai, India, Oman, we have found great success in improving safety standards of scaffolding professionals working in each of these regions. Take a look at some of our scaffolding case studies to find out more about our work.
