We’re pleased to announce that we have recently appointed Steve Odger as our Compliance Manager. Steve will be known to many of you who have previously attended scaffolding training with us, as Steve used to work for Simian as a Scaffolding instructor and NVQ assessor.
After a period working for a large scaffolding company as their Training Manager and Health & Safety Advisor, we are really thrilled to have him back at our headquarters in Warrington.
In his new role Steve will be putting all his knowledge and experience of industry related health and safety to good use. He will be responsible for reviewing our training courses, presentations, training materials and Instructors’ lesson plans to ensure they comply with all the latest guidance and reflect the latest legislative requirements.
He will also be involved in bespoke training, some course delivery and working closely with our Business Development Manager on different projects, as well as the internal quality assurance process for NVQ portfolios. He has only been in the role for a few weeks but has already been busy travelling to client meetings and giving presentations.
