BEHAVIOURAL SAFETY (SALUS HUMANITAS)
Salus Huminitas is the behavioural arm of Simian Risk Management. It is headed up by Ian Fyall and Garry Liversidge. Ian and Garry have over 50 years of combined experience of working on sites, offshore oil and gas platforms and Chemical sites and Power Stations. Most of our work has been in Scaffolding and Work at Height.
Garry is Simian’s head Safety coach and is qualified in Neuro Linguistic Programming. He has worked in the UK and overseas for the last 12 years improving safety cultures behavioural skills, and accident statistics.
NLP is a method of bringing staff to think and behave in a safe way of working. It begins at the top with senior management and filters through to the entire workforce.
It’s not about a one day training course it’s about safety coaches working within your organisation over a period of time to bring long term lasting success not a quick fix. We understand every company is different and a different approach will be needed each time.
Our aim is to wake you up to a new beginning in safety with fewer accidents, higher productivity and a more caring workforce.
